Pupil Premium Strategy
Since 2011 schools have received an element of funding called Pupil Premium.
The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011. The Pupil Premium is designed to ensure that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most. The funding is allocated to schools with pupils who are eligible for free school meals (DPP - Deprivation Pupil Premium), looked after children (LAC - Looked After Premium) or have parents currently in the Armed Forces (SCP - Service Child Premium).
The Department for Education requires that all schools publish information about previous and current spending arrangements. This should be in place by 31st December. The MEPS report is available by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
