Learning Behaviours

At our school, we believe behaviour is important and features in everything we do.  

Research shows that one of the keys to children succeeding at school is for them to understand how they learn. If a child can explain the different skills he or she is using, it enhances awareness of what helps them to learn, what their strengths and weaknesses are and what they need to do to improve. 

At our school, we have developed Learning Dinosaurs.

Our Dinosaurs help children to understand the different skills and behaviours they need as a learner,  in order to be the best learner they can be.  

When children demonstrate different learning behaviours they are acknowledged and celebrated through Class Dojo and our behaviour policy.
